OTA Therapeutic Skills II

This course expands on foundational knowledge in occupational therapy. Students explore and use a range of therapeutic activities to promote occupational performance in cases with increased complexity. Principals of activity analysis, selection, planning and application will be applied with an emphasis on neurological conditions and related occupational performance issues. Practical application of this knowledge, including intervention techniques at the level of the person, the environment and the occupation will be practiced and evaluated during practical labs.
