Tool Design

The course begins by covering the basic mould design for plastic injection moulds. It also covers the manufacturing processes that are used to shape plastics. Design of products that are made from plastic is discussed, as is the application and design of plastics used for the moulding industry. Unigraphics manufacturing software (mould design) will be used to complete mould designs.
