Research and Grant/Proposal Writing

In this course, students learn the fundamentals of the grant funding application process and recognize what is involved in engaging in research projects. After exploring research concepts and the qualities of effective proposal writing, students complete a research grant proposal suitable for submission to a funder and present their final product to a mock proposal committee.
