Inclusive and Therapeutic Recreation

This course will provide students with an understanding of the concept of inclusion as applied to participation in recreation and leisure activities and programs. Students will also explore Therapeutic Recreation as a profession, the factors associated with planning, implementing, and evaluating quality recreational opportunities for diverse populations, and their role in advocacy.
