This semester six course (3 hours lecture) provides instruction on environmental planning. The key study areas will include: the basic philosophy of planning; the current and forthcoming guidelines in planning, particularly regarding the environment; techniques to assess the environment for planning purposes; and specific design considerations to ensure environmental sustainability.
