This course is designed to help students prepare to situate themselves positively for future employment. Students will engage in a full range of work preparation practices including identification of current employment opportunities, and application of contemporary job search techniques. This will include resume development, design and creation of an appropriate social media profile and refinement of interview skills. Students will learn the importance of professionalism, soft skills and the standards expected within the culinary industry. Students will also earn a nationally recognized responsible service of alcohol certificate (Smart Serve).
