Plumbing Workplace Safety, Rigging & Hoisting

This course content includes occupational health and safety with a focus on personal safety and protective equipment, protection of others, responsibilities and rights, hand and power tools, work platforms and lock-out/tag-out procedures. Recognizing, assessing and controlling hazards in the workplace and in hoisting and rigging operations will also be studied. This course meets the Curriculum Standard for Plumbers level 1 in Ontario.
