Building on the foundational marketing knowledge gained in Sport Marketing I, this course focuses on the application of the marketing mix, a collection of business variables that marketers can control and manipulate in changing market conditions. Once marketing objectives have been developed, a company must decide upon specific goods/services, pricing, distribution, and marketing communication strategies. Students examine the application of each of the four marketing mix variables in great depth through the creation of a marketing plan.
