Database Management

This course will build on the knowledge gained from Intro to Databases as well as skills learned in both Windows Server and Linux courses. The role of Data Base Administrator (DBA) will be introduced, along with tasks usually associated with that role, such as cross platform Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS) installation, connectivity, security, back-up and restoration, and migration. Database tuning and scaling will also be explored.
