In this course students will learn the basics of budgeting and accounting. Students will evaluate costs and benefits in decision-making related to revenue generation strategies. Students will apply their learning in the preparation of a revenue generation proposal for a local recreation and leisure services organization, in response to a problem that the organization currently faces. Students will present their proposals to industry professionals in the form of a written report and an oral presentation.
