This course introduces a variety of web-based and digital marketing approaches utilized in the sport industry in support of strategic communication and business objectives. Students will examine the use of digital media in sport, including strategies for search engine optimization, websites, social media, and mobile communication. The course provides students with an opportunity to plan, create, execute and recommend digital marketing strategies for sport organizations with an emphasis on analytics and the evaluation of online marketing activities.
