This course builds on dental radiography I and introduces the student to the principles and techniques of intra and extra oral dental radiographic exposure. The student will develop skills in client assessment and management, as well as identification of both normal landmarks versus abnormal or pathological conditions on a radiograph. Laboratory experience includes exposing and processing quality intraoral films, using the principles of paralleling, bisecting, occlusal and bitewing techniques on mannequins (DXXTR's).
