This course is designed to teach students about the automation of machining systems into what is commonly called a work cell. Students will learn about the various component parts of an automated manufacturing system. In particular, the students will learn to develop and run programs for industrial robots. These robots will also be integrated to a CNC machine through a PLC to form an automated manufacturing cell.
