Field Placement

Put Your Skills to the Test! This course provides students with a structured approach for seeking, gaining, and participating in an appropriate field placement. During the first 12 weeks of the semester, students will develop strategies for successfully gaining a field placement, including resume and cover letter preparation, as well as interview practice. Students will learn strategies for contacting employers, completing field placement documentation, and completing course evaluation requirements. During the 120-hour placement with an employer, students will carry out program-related practical work in the cosmetics industry. Completion of an approved field placement is required for graduation.
