If you are looking to build a foundation before moving onto further studies at Durham College or need a pre-requisite credit for admission, you may be interested in the General Arts and Science Certificate program. This one year program provides a high degree of choice and flexibility and is designed for students who are looking to determine their long-term academic or career goals as well as students who have specific academic/career pathways beyond the other General Arts and Science streams.

If you are looking to build a foundation in the business field, you may be interested in the Business Fundamentals Certificate program. Students can enter either program knowing that it has been carefully designed by Durham College in collaboration with other higher education partners and leading employers to ensure they are gaining the skills and knowledge required to help you succeed in your chosen academic path.
