Leader and Career Development

This course is intended to help participants develop competencies as a leader in the insurance industry, whether as an owner, front-line supervisor or manager. Applications in the organizational setting in the context of hiring, team building, conflict resolution, accountability, and personal growth and development will be explored. The course will also explore legislative frameworks that affect a leader's decision making, including issues relating to employment standards, health and safety and human rights. Personal and professional development are a constant theme throughout the course.
