ChocoSol Workshop

Calling all chocolate lovers

You are invited to a bean-to-bar chocolate tasting and talk with ChocoSol founder Michael Sacco.

ChocoSol Traders is a Toronto-based Social Enterprise Learning Community that transforms the “food of the gods” -- cacao -- into small batches of artisanal chocolate. The company recognizes that in order to have the food of the gods, you must begin with the soil of the gods.

Join ChocoSol’s founder Michael Sacco as he shared insight into the teachings of the Maya and forest gardens; discuss current research on the spiritual ecology of the forest garden and polyculture in Mexico; and learn how ChocoSol is locally engaging in this research in Ontario in the form of our ChocoSoil project.

Guests will have the opportunity to sample ChocoSol’s delicious mochas and xocolatl (Mayan drinking chocolate) and ChocoSol products will be available for purchase.
