The fast-paced and hands-on learning environment offered by the Durham College Public Relations (PR) program gave me a taste of what the PR workforce is like before even graduating. Being able to plan events, hold press conferences and write for the Durham College alumni magazine, Reflections, allowed me to experience every aspect of my chosen career and enhance my writing abilities. The two placement opportunities give students a real-world experience that is invaluable in preparing us for entering our first job.
