The determining factor to pursue my interests at Durham College was the reputation of the faculty members; their involvement and interest in the success of their students, and the practical hands-on experience that the three-year Electronic Technology program offered.

In my view, Durham College was considered an institution which would provide the education necessary and the understanding of technology that could immediately be applied in real-world applications.

Advice for new students: Learning about and inventing new technologies can be very exciting and all-consuming. However, it is critical that your technical expertise is balanced with the necessary leadership and business skills that will compliment your entrepreneurial spirit and accelerate your ideas into reality.
