Career Development is proud of our partnership and ongoing collaboration with faculty and staff. Together, we work to help students prepare for the labour market, meet employer expectations and achieve career success.

Career coaching for students

Do you have students who:

  • Think they’re in the wrong program?
  • Want advice on program selection?
  • Want to transfer within or outside of Durham College?
  • Want to explore post-graduate options?
  • Are thinking about going to university?
  • Want to take advantage of articulation agreements?
  • Want to study abroad?

Coaches will assist students with these and other career-related questions. To arrange an appointment, students can log on to the DC Hired site.

Job fairs and employer events

Job fairs and employer events are an important component of student success, and we appreciate the support of faculty and staff by encouraging students to attend. Faculty can help by displaying any provided promotional materials at the beginning or end of class. All events hosted by the Career Development office will be advertised on the DC Hired site.
