Renewable Energy Technician

A fresh, green industry is changing the way we produce and use energy. People with the skills to enter this field are in demand. Today’s technology harnesses electricity from wind or sun and heats homes through the ground. Renewable energy technicians are specialists in the site analysis of alternative energy systems. They assist with the installation of panels and pumps; help assemble the turbines that make it all possible; and perform home audits, uncovering energy inefficiencies.
