Online learning opportunities
Durham College offers a variety of programs for students who want to study online and still qualify for Second Career funding. Online options include students who study remotely or students who study in our E-Lab at the Oshawa Campus.
Our E-Lab enables Durham College to provide a learning environment with all of the software and hardware needed for you to complete courses towards a number of online certificate and diploma programs.
The E-Lab provides:
- A suite of program-specific software
- An assigned computer station
- On-site service and support
- Semester intakes beginning in September, January and May
- Set schedules: Monday to Friday, mornings from 8 a.m. to noon
Remote students can complete their online courses from home, office or anywhere.
- It is the responsibility of the remote student to ensure they have all hardware/software requirements needed for course completion
- 24 hour technical support is provided
- Semester intakes beginning September, January and May
- Flexible hours as determined by individual course schedules
