Technical Artistry II

Students will apply performance capture production techniques to create a short cinematic sequence for a level boss fight in a fictional action-RPG game, using animation libraries, pre-existing characters and custom animations from shoots using the Mixed Reality PCAP studio. Creating a coherent and appealing narrative flow from gameplay to cinematic and back to gameplay will be the focus, using gated production milestones to track progression from rough animatic to final cinematic animation.
