Science for Renewables

Energy can be harvested in many forms from many different renewable sources. In this course students will study the relationship between energy, power and work and the properties of heat and fluids. Students will learn the basic concepts of energy harvesting and conversion from one form into another. Using the first and second laws of thermodynamics, students will be able to perform basic calculations on thermal systems involving heat, electricity and other forms of energy.
