Network Administration III

This course uses instructional active learning and participatory activities to teach students the knowledge and skills necessary to administer Active Directory within a Windows Server environment. Topics covered include planning, implementing, and maintaining forests, sites, domains, and organizational units (OUs), using Group Policy to deploy software and configure a computer or user environment, as well as troubleshooting techniques that are valuable for the maintenance of an enterprise network environment. An in depth understanding of network operating systems, their internal structure, security concerns, maintenance and performance features are important to graduates' success. This course prepares students to continue their network operating systems education in the NETW 7100 and NETW 8100 courses in semester 6.
