Field Placement

This component of the marketing curriculum is an integral part of students' marketing education and preparation for the workforce. Students will work in a marketing position with an approved employer for 160 hours. Prior to starting the placement, students focus on securing a placement by networking, sending in applications, and conducting interviews with potential employers. Once a placement is secured, students will prepare a research report on their future employer ensuring they are prepared for the first day of work. Students' will also take part in objective setting during the first week of their placement and a performance appraisal at the end.
