Field Experience II

To gain practical library and information science experience and apply program vocational and employability skills under the supervision of LIS professionals, students are required to secure placements with two or more approved library and information science departments or organizations. At least one of the placements must be arranged and paperwork submitted by December 1st. Students may schedule their placement hours during any non instructional time in the fourth semester, including Thursdays and Fridays, (the two days each week they are timetabled without classes) or Reading Week. Students whose total hours of placement equals 140 hours or more and who submit all required paperwork by the due dates will earn a credit in this course.
