This course will give students the knowledge and skills to produce a successful event. Topics will cover operational functions related to the planning, executing and post-event tasks of both large and small events. Logistical elements required will include: site survey and analysis, food & beverage set-ups, registration, décor, sound, lighting, staging, transportations, parking and lodging. Concepts learned in this course will form a foundation of knowledge that will be applied to the Capstone project.
