Computer Applications III- Sport

This course will enable the learner to use the computer as a tool to develop new concepts including: digital file types; ethics (as it pertains to IT in the workplace); efficient email usage; using social media as a networking/marketing tool; and various on-line fundraising and management software. A portion of the class will be dedicated to the creation and validation of professional level web pages, including publishing onto an Internet available web server. Students will choose one sport team or organization, and use it for the majority of their course deliverable, effectively creating a portfolio that can be shown to potential sport employers after graduation.
