Therapeutic Activities II

As a follow-up course to the Therapeutic Activities I, this course has two components. The first component teaches the student how to develop a therapeutic group proposal. The student will then be required to implement this proposal with clients during the winter semester within his/her placement setting. The second component exposes the student to a wider variety of applications and therapeutic techniques/activities that can be utilized in both individual and group therapeutic sessions. The student will also have an opportunity to learn about how to effectively respond to some developmental/emotional needs that clients can present during group sessions.
