Catering And Event Planning

In this course, students learn to function effectively in a catering or event environment. The course explores a variety of events including meals, meetings, weddings, conferences, and exhibitions. Students work through a full event planning cycle including sales and marketing, client interaction, planning and execution, budgeting, risk management, implementation, after service, and evaluation. Students also learn how to work in a team, performing efficiently and effectively, while planning and executing an event for their peers.
