Students will engage in hands-on learning to observe, and participate in, dispute resolution within a community setting. Through practical experience in the community setting, students will examine the impact that conflict has on one's community and the role a conflict resolution practitioner plays in preventing and resolving conflict. Students will apply their academic knowledge, classroom experiences, and analysis skills to understand the complexities of conflict in a community setting and to assist parties in ways that meet their needs.
