Auditing II

This course is a continuation of Auditing I and begins with an in-depth study of the relationships among financial statements, management assertions and audit objectives as they relate to various accounts within an entity. It then applies the concepts of Auditing I to the audit functions and procedures related to the revenue and collection cycle, accounts payable and accrued expenses cycle, payroll and related expenses cycle, and audit objectives as they relate to various accounts within an entity. Changes in standards due to the implementation of IFRS as well as the completion of the audit, including evaluation and communication of findings are studied. A practical component is included through the completion of an audit practice case.
