Can I order textbooks online from the Campus Bookstore?

Yes, you can order your textbooks, course required materials, and even clothing online without having to wait in line in the store! Your order can be delivered to your door, picked up at the Oshawa Campus Bookstore or at one of our following satellite locations: 

  • Faculty of Education Library located at 11 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa
  • Faculty of Social Services and Humanities Library located at 61 Charles Street in Oshawa
  • Pickering Learning Site located at 1340 Pickering Parkway in Pickering 

An 8-digit confirmation number will be displayed on the screen when you have successfully placed an order and you will also be sent a confirmation email. Orders placed online will be shipped or ready for pick up within 1-4 business days. (Please note, during peak times it could take up to 4 business days to process your order. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.) Proper student ID is required when you pick up your order. 

Purolator Shipments
All shipped packages are sent with Purolator. Please note Purolator does not ship to PO Box addresses and requires a signature upon delivery. If you will not be home to sign for your package, and would like for the package to be shipped with no signature required, you must specify the following in the special instructions during checkout:

I (Student Name) accept full responsibility and am authorizing the Campus Bookstore to send the package with no signature required.

The Campus Bookstore will not be responsible for packages delivered without signature once they leave our warehouse.

You can place your order online by following these steps:

  • Visit
  • Sign in using your MyCampus login information
  • Select the appropriate term and click “Go”
  • When you see a list of your courses, click the “Go to the Bookstore” button at the right of the screen and you will be taken to your Booklist on the Campus Bookstore website
  • Scroll through your Booklist and click the “BUY NEW” button with the price, beside each book that you want to purchase
  • Once you have selected all your books, scroll to the top of the page and click “Checkout” in the SHOPPING CART box at the top right of your Booklist
  • If this is your first online purchase through the Campus Bookstore, Create a New Account. If you have ordered online through the Campus Bookstore before, enter your account information to login.
  • Follow the steps to complete your order

Can I purchase Durham College clothing online?

Yes, Durham College clothing can be purchased online by visiting the Campus Bookstore website:

How do I find out which books I need?

  • Visit

What does it mean when the price of my book is listed as $0.00?

  • This means that we have not yet received the pricing for this book from the publisher; it does not mean the item is free. The price will automatically be updated on the website once the correct pricing is received.
  • Books that do not have a price listed, or have an On Hand quantity of 0, cannot be ordered online and are considered special orders. Students must contact the Campus Bookstore in person to place orders for such books.

Where can I buy used books?

Used books can be purchased at the Oshawa Campus Bookstore and the Tuck Shop in the Oshawa Campus Student Centre.

Recommendation: Be sure to check the editions and the ISBN number at the back of the book to be sure they match before buying used textbooks.

Can I price match my books?

Yes. The following items are available for price matching:

  • All textbooks and access cards

The following items are not covered by the Campus Bookstore price-match policy: 

  • CampusEbookstore Ebooks and Access Codes
  • Clothing
  • Stationery items such as notebooks, post-it notes, paper, envelopes, calculators, etc.
  • Quick Study Guides
  • Other non-book items

The Campus Bookstore will only price match the listed value with the following websites:

*Member Pricing does not apply. Books must be in stock on either site.

Price matching will only apply to in-store purchases at the Campus Bookstore, not online sales. For previous purchases you have 30 days to price match from the date on your original receipt (this will only be honoured once). You can only price match on in-stock items - no rain checks. The bookstore reserves the right to cancel or suspend this policy without notice.

To price match, just come to the cash register with a smartphone showing the website with the following information on the book or eBook:

  • Title
  • ISBN
  • Price
  • In Stock

Paper printouts with the above information will be accepted for the current date only.
