Professional Communications II builds on concepts introduced in Professional Communications I. This course continues to stress the importance of strong interpersonal communications between the client and caregiver, reinforcing the need for self-reflection in effective dental hygiene practice. The course will revisit the topics of verbal, nonverbal communications and listening skills at a more advanced level. All areas of communications will be considered with an eye toward diversity and inclusive practices.
