Student Leadership awards are granted to graduating students in recognition of their outstanding contributions to campus life. It is the commitment of students and the exemplary leadership they demonstrate that has helped Durham College build the strong reputation we have today.
Leadership points are used to determine students' eligibility in receiving Student Leadership awards. Students can earn leadership points when participating in activities that encompass a leadership role. Points are pre-assigned to activities based on a set criteria and are awarded when added to a co-curricular record. A list of leadership point criteria is available for students to review on the Co-curricular Recognition program portal.
The Co-curricular Recognition program portal determines if you are eligible for an award, eliminating the need to apply for the:
- Durham College Student Leadership award; and
- President's Award of Excellence in Student Leadership.
