Learn from home, from work, or in our labs, creating your own study schedule and setting your own pace. Our correspondence courses are offered on a monthly intake basis, and your study kit will be mailed at this time. You have 14 weeks from the start date of your course to complete.

Correspondence Course Information
- Register by phone, by fax, by mail or in-person for the course of your choice. Be sure to use the course codes listed.
- Your Study Kit will be sent by Purolator to your home from Continuing Education prior to the start date of your course.
- The course fee includes a $25 supply cost (non-tax deductible).
- If your course uses a textbook (the title and ISBN number are listed in your Study Kit). The text can be purchased from the Durham College Bookstore. It is
not included in the price of the course. You may telephone the College Bookstore (905.721.3026) and request your textbook be couriered to you. Students will incur the additional cost of transportation and handling.
- You are assigned a instructor and are provided with the instructor's fax and/or telephone numbers for consultation.
- Assignments will be mailed or faxed to the Continuing Education office at the Oshawa Campus for your instructor to receive and mark. (We will enclose self-addressed, stamped envelopes for your convenience).

Exams:
Exams are written at the College on scheduled Saturdays. You call us when you are ready to write and we will reserve a seat for you. You must register with us to write the exam no later than one week prior to the Saturday exam date.
If you are unable to come to Oshawa to write your exams, please call 905.721.2000, ext. 2667 for assistance in arranging a proctor in your area. You are responsible for any proctoring fees.
