
Transit information
As part of their student fees, all full-time Durham College students receive a Universal Transit Pass (U-Pass) that offers:
- Unlimited use of any Durham Region Transit or GO Transit bus operating in Durham Region; and
- Reduced GO Transit fare outside of Durham Region.

Parking information
Durham College provides safe parking facilities for students, faculty, staff and visitors.
General information:
- Paid parking is in effect;
- Attendants are available to assist at entrance kiosks in each lot;
- Short-term parking is available in the Pay 'N' Display parking area near the main entrance of the Gordon Willey building and in visitor areas;
- Guest permits can be purchased in advance through the Parking Services office;
- Entry to parking lots is permitted to attend classes and for other authorized activities;
- Regulations are enforced by Parking Services;
- Durham College assumes no responsibility for any damage or loss to vehicles while on campus and maintains full jurisdiction over all traffic and parking;
- Registered owners are responsible for all vehicle violations; and
- Durham College reserves the right to move, tow or impound a vehicle on campus property if it is in violation of parking regulations.

Permit purchasing system
Parking permits are available for purchase online. To purchase a parking permit, please visit http://durham.parkadmin.ca.
Notes:
- By displaying and using a parking permit you are acknowledging acceptance of all of the regulations outlined in the Parking and Traffic Information brochure you received with purchase;
- Continuing Education students are not required to purchase a parking permit for evening classes;
- If your permit is lost or stolen, you must apply to have it replaced and pay a replacement fee;
- It is mandatory to have a valid e-mail account; and
- Parking Services will replace damaged permits.

Please note that the rates listed below are subject to change and apply to all motorized vehicles including motorcycles.
Oshawa campus

Policies:
- Permits are valid from 6 a.m. to midnight;
- Prior arrangements must be made for overnight parking;
- Permits must be hung on the rear-view mirror with the permit number facing the windshield;
- Pay 'N' Display permits are non-refundable and should be clearly displayed inside your car; and
- A permit does not guarantee the availability of a parking space.

Motorcycles:
- The permit fee structure applies to all vehicles including motorcycles;
- Motorcycles must be registered with the college through the Parking office; and
- When entering campus, you must show your permit to the parking attendant.
Bicycles:
- Bicycles should only be parked in provided racks; and
- Bicycles found inside buildings or chained to trees, posts etc. will be relocated to the closest rack.
Violations:
- All vehicles must park in designated parking spaces, which can be identified by the yellow lines painted on the pavement, parking curbstones or yellow posts;
- The end of each row is marked by double yellow lines or by a concrete curbstone; and
- Vehicles parked outside a designated space are in violation and will be ticketed and/or towed, even if a valid parking permit is visibly displayed.
Enforcement:
- Enforcement of regulations is consistent with the Parking and Traffic Information brochure, municipal bylaws and provincial and federal laws;
- All parking lots are monitored;
- All illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed, towed and/or impounded at the owner's expense;
- Parking privileges may be withdrawn for the continued abuse of regulations; and
- Permits are non-transferable.
