Durham College's Uxbridge Campus is located centrally in the northern portion of Durham Region and serves many rural communities including Uxbridge, Scugog and Brock. More than 2,500 students are currently served at this campus.
Community members enjoy a professional building, which offers an on-site Employment Resource Centre where clients can explore the Internet, use a fax, machine and photocopier, view job opportunities or meet with one of our helpful job coaches. Also available is an Academic Upgrading program that enables students to earn their Grade 12 equivalency upon completion. Job Connect and Summer Jobs Services are also available on-site and throughout the region.
We offer the training that employers are looking for including credit and general interest courses that range from Microsoft Office to Veterinary Assistant, to various art and language courses.
Other amenities include convenient free parking, access to computer labs that exceed industry standards and courteous, friendly staff.
