Hanging out with your friends is an important part of your overall student experience - and that comes first at Durham College.
We offer a variety of places to relax with friends when you are not in the classroom. Our Student Centre is a hub of activity, offering you a chance to unwind in the Student Lounge or grab something to eat and drink, listen to some music and play a game of pool in E.P. Taylor's pub.
Rather get moving in your down time? Our state-of-the-art Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre offers wall-to-wall fitness options, while the Campus Ice Centre is home to a full-service pub-style restaurant. During the warmer months there are plenty of common areas outside where you can throw around a football, play Frisbee or kick a Hacky Sack.
Other places include:
- Courtyard;
- Learning Commons;
- Library coffee kiosk;
- Marketplace Cafeteria;
- Polonsky Commons;
- Recognition Square;
- Reflecting Pond; and
- South Village Residence Dining Hall.
